History
Stichting Cancer Education and Research Netherlands is a registered nonprofit foundation (Stichting) under Dutch civil law. It was established in 2024 and is registered at the Kamer van Koophandel (KvK) under number 94609640 (RSIN 866835428).
Our mission is to facilitate charitable contributions in the Netherlands in support of cancer care, education, and research in under-resourced regions, particularly across Asia. We work in close alignment with Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre (SKMCH&RC), one of the most credible and compassionate cancer institutions in Pakistan. Over the last three decades, SKMCH&RC has served thousands of patients—nearly 75% of whom receive financially supported care.
CER-NL provides a platform for supporters in the Netherlands to contribute directly to this mission. Through equipment grants, fundraising, and knowledge exchange, we are helping to reduce the financial burden of cancer treatment and expand access to care in resource-limited settings.
Board Of Trustees
The Management Board of Stichting Cancer Education and Research Netherlands serves on a voluntary basis and receives no remuneration for their services. In accordance with Dutch law, the board oversees governance, financial stewardship, and strategic direction of the foundation.

Together, the board ensures that all initiatives are carried out in line with the foundation’s objectives: to support cancer care and research efforts in under-resourced regions, with transparency, accountability, and impact at the core of every project.
